External cast stone window cill’s (or sill’s) are sited at the bottom of the window aperture, projecting out and diverting rainwater away from the property. Stone window cills are primarily functional features of a building façade but can also be decorative or made into more of an aesthetic feature, particularly on properties with many windows.Get a Quote

There are three main types of cast stone window cill you may consider:
Slip Window Cills – Cast stone slip window cills are often the choice for use on walls which are to be rendered. Cast stone slip cills can be “slipped” into position between the Jambs or main horizontal parts of a window frame. They can be fitted into a gap, or built into a wall during the construction phase. Our cast stone slip cills are available in standard stock sizes of 1200x140x150mm and 785x65x150mm/sash windows.
Stooled Window Cills – Cast stone stooled window cills have a stooling at either side of the window aperture, which is built into the brickwork at the time of construction, providing a flat and level surface for the bricks or side jambs such as in a traditional mullion window surround. This type of cill offers a more traditional look. Stooled cills are available with either 100mm or 150mm stools. Cills over 1200mm are generally supplied in two pieces.
Bay Window Cills – Cast stone bay sills are designed for bay windows but are commonly used in conservatories, orangeries or garden offices. Cast stone bay sills are manufactured to the specific site requirements, such as square or curved.
