Specialists in the manufacture and installation of architectural cast stone

We are using Procter on a high end single executive house near Leeds, West Yorkshire. The value of which is £3.75m. We employed Procter to supply and point all the Ashlar stone as they were unfortunately too busy to install it for us, which would've been our preference. Their design manager Matthew, Production Manager Karl and Installation Manager Neil have been nothing short of brilliant. Their attention to detail is a breath of fresh air, and where we have had issues they have overcome this. Delivery to site had been timely, the packaging has meant little or no damage and where there has been minor damage, they have either replaced or repaired immediately, without delay or issue. We have had no discolouration and we have used the plinth courses below ground. The lead in times have worked quite well, all I would say is don't leave it late to place an order as Procter are good but the stone is made to order and there is a high demand for their services. I can highly recommend the Procter team and their products. Our client, who is a stickler for detail, loves everything they do.

I just wanted to write in and state how pleased I am with the final result on the porticos your company has installed on the three houses. I was very impressed with the precision to which Neil works. I initially had assumed, being a builder, that I could have installed the porticos myself, but having seen Neil at work, and the techniques he used, I am glad that I decided to get him to do the install. Neil had to work in quite challenging conditions and low temperatures, but he used the right additives and insulated the ring beam to make sure the install was not compromised. The porticos looks stunning and Neil's attention to detail and knowledge on architectural stone work was invaluable in achieving the desired result.

Just had a Red Cast Stone Portico fitted by Procter in super quick time and it looks amazing. Office Staff are very accommodating and extremely professional. When I was originally told it was a 4-5 day job to fit the portico, I couldn't really understand why it would take that long. Having now watched the guys do the fitting, it's clear that the installation is very skilled, and more of an engineering task than a simple builder's job. The level of precision required and eye for levelling is something I hadn't appreciated. Neil is clearly very knowledgable regarding stonework and how to correctly install it. Both guys were very pleasant, turned up early every day and were very keen to ensure we were happy with the end result. The portico looks great so thanks to the team at Procter for helping us to improve our home.

We were very impressed with the quality of the Artstone you produce. Everything was very well protected, in fact, the only damage we incurred to the stone was from overzealous manual handling. Since purchasing the stone from yourselves, we have recommended your company and its products to several other contractors. We are a large subcontract brickwork outfit with approx. 150 subcontractors working for us, we see a lot of Artstone and without a doubt, your product is one of the best we have seen and used.

Overall installation/survey and delivery experience is/was very good.
